Ventura County Community Foundation
Established in 1987, the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) is a family of charitable funds created by citizens who care deeply about strengthening the community, preserving and expanding its cultural resources, and helping those in need.
VCCF strives to engage donors to build philanthropic capital, to build and preserve permanents endowments, to provide effective grantmaking from donor advised, field of interest, unrestricted and other VCCF funds, to provide management and leadership training and education for Ventura County nonprofit staffs and boards, and to be an independent partner for philanthropic civic engagement, addressing community needs in Ventura County.
The Orfalea Foundation provides scholarships to students who graduated from High School in Ventura County pursuing post-secondary education. Priority is given to students pursuing a career in a health care, early childhood care, social work, and other areas aligning with our initiatives and principles, as well as students with learning differences, single parents, and children coming from single parent homes.
