The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is a non-partisan initiative of the William J. Clinton Foundation which sets out to turn ideas into action and to help our world move beyond the current state of globalization to a more integrated global community by fostering partnerships, providing strategic advice, and driving resources toward effective ideas. CGI helps its members—organizations from the private sector, public sector, and civil society—maximize their efforts to alleviate poverty, create a cleaner environment, and increase access to health care and education.

The Orfalea Foundation has made Commitments to Action since 2006 that address issues plaguing our community, global and local, such as combating global climate change, fighting childhood obesity, creating sustainable development in Africa, and enabling sustainable development.  This work has been carried out through the partnerships and efforts highlighted on this page.
