Adaptability for Specific Programs
Virtually every program can benefit from further development of its outdoor program and / or environment.
At the same time, no two programs will develop the Outdoor Classroom in the same way. Those who staff the program bring a unique character to it. Similarly, the geographical location of the program (i.e., urban vs. rural, inland vs. coastal, etc.) will affect a program differently.
Each program will implement the Outdoor Classroom uniquely, according to its individual program philosophy and practice. While there is no one “right way”, virtually every program can implement some form of the Outdoor Classroom to better address the contemporary needs of its children.
