Join Your Disctrict Wellness Committee
Get a copy of your district’s Wellness Policy and become familiar with its contents. Call your school and find out when your district’s committee meets and how you can join. If you are unable to join the committee, ask your Board of Education to require a public report from the Wellness Committee at least twice during each school year. The Wellness Committee and Policy are your opportunities to effect positive change in your school’s food!
